Analyse der Wohnungsbewertungen von Airbnb
Publishing year: 2016
With millions of registered users Airbnb conciliates rooms from C2C in the share economy. To get landlords and tenants together it is crucial that they trust each other. Therefore, users can verify their personality, write comments about each other and the tenants can rate the rooms they rented.
With a dataset of more than one million profiles we evaluate statistically how to distinguish between ratings in detail. Therefore, we analyze frequency distributions of single judging criteria and further identify possible correlations between them.
Finally, we present key factors for the most successful landlords on Airbnb, resume how trust indicators influence the demand of the rooms and if a good room can be identified by the ratings it received only.
